Facilities and Maintenance
The Maintenance and Facilities Department plays a crucial role in ensuring that our educational environment is safe, clean, and conducive to learning. This department is responsible for servicing four elementary schools, two middle schools, one high school, and a career and technology center. Our dedicated team manages routine maintenance tasks, emergency repairs, and facility enhancements, ensuring that all buildings are well-maintained and equipped to support the diverse needs of students and staff. By focusing on efficient operations and timely responses, the department helps create a positive atmosphere that fosters educational success across all our schools.
Work Orders
Edgefield County School District Maintenance Department operates on a work order system to prioritize and address maintenance issues. The os ticket system can be accessed in the staff intranet. Each school is responsible for entering their own tickets. Teachers and staff should report all maintenance and facilities issues to their school administration. School administrators are responsible for reviewing and submitting work orders for their building. Once the ticket is received they will be reviewed and addressed accordingly. This work order system allows the maintenance staff to track and prioritize the work orders.
