New 4K Student Application

The South Carolina Department of Education Child Early Reading and Development Education Program (CERDEP) has defined specific criteria for student eligibility in the 4K program. Students meeting one of the CERDEP risk criteria for eligibility (documented family income 185 percent or less of federal poverty or Medicaid eligibility) and who will be 4 years-old on or before September 1, 2026, are given priority for this program. We do encourage all interested families to apply.
